Black History Month Contest & Activities
Please take a minute or two to go over the black history month contest handout with your students.  One was placed in your boxes last week.  We will place a corrected one in your boxes this week.  Below is a copy of the handout that you can pull up on the screen and show your students.

Six Flags Read to Succeed
If you were registered with BSES in the past, I have re-registered you.  If you're new, please register your class for the Six Flags Read to Succeed program.  It's a great incentive to get your students reading.  Here is the registration link https://feedback.sixflags.com/rts/.  Remember, if you were previously registered with BSES, I have already re-registered you.  However, you should still log into your account and change your password.   Apparently, you can use our new or old email address as your log in.   I have no clue what password Mrs. Huey used for you all last year.   Sorry!   If you were never registered with BSES, the steps on the link are pretty easy to follow.

All reading logs should be collected by February 26th.  They were placed in your boxes last Friday.   All information has to be entered online by March 1st.  These details along with other important guidelines can be found in your teacher toolkit once you register and/or log in.
Websites
Part 1 of our websites are done.  If you would like to complete your pt.2 with me in the media center at 3:15 on Wednesday, January 16th let me know and I will make arrangements.  If not, you can view the following video and have it completed by January 25th.   Also, take a look at Ms. Mize's.  Hers looks fantastic!

Don't forget that we now have full access to our teacher portal.  The county officially rolled it out last week.   As soon as you log into your computer, find the portal icon, sign in, and you should have full access to everything without having to sign into each program separately.
Teachers remember Renaissance and MyOn are linked to Infinite Campus.  Therefore, new students will automatically be added once they're in IC.  It may take up to 24  hours.
Ilearn is the only program that we have to add the students in ourselves.  Thanks!
